HRDNOX Labs

Mobile appsHard Knox execution

I build and ship my own apps to the App Store and Google Play. I don't normally take custom app builds for clients — that energy stays in-house. Need a website? That's Rocky Road Designs.

HRDNOX Labs, Rocky Road Designs, and how to reach me

I split things on purpose so it is easy to understand: HRDNOX Labs is where my mobile apps live. If you need a website built, head over to Rocky Road Designs. If you are trying to get in touch for anything else, scroll to the contact form on this page — that is the right inbox for partnerships, press, and the like.

In-house mobile apps

HRDNOX Labs is my mobile app brand — Rock Nerd, ZenWeave, Tumbler Buddy, and whatever ships next. I design, build, and publish my own products on the App Store and Google Play from Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.

If you want to reach out for any reason — partnerships, press, something weird and interesting — there is a contact form below. I read what comes in; I do not run a generic “hire us to code anything” shop for custom apps.

Rock Nerd preview

Rock Nerd

Live — iOS & Android

rocknerd.app

Rock Nerd is a field companion for rockhounds: a big map of hunting spots (with community voting so good locations surface), a state-aware rock identifier built on real traits instead of random AI guesses, check-ins and reviews, in-app messaging, and Rock Buddy for premium members who want to line up a hunt with someone local or out of state. There is XP, badges, and an affiliate program so premium members earn when friends upgrade. Free tier keeps verified spots within 200 miles; premium opens the full worldwide catalog, voting, and buddy matching. Details, pricing, and FAQ are all on rocknerd.app.

ZenWeave preview

ZenWeave

In testing — iOS & Android

zenweave.app

ZenWeave is a sleep and wind-down app built around sound you actually want at night: rain, fire, meditation beds, and more, with timers that match real life (short resets by day, sleep mode with a wake target at night). You write goals in plain language and the app turns them into short affirmation lines you hear during playback — editable, refreshable, and paired with streaks and listening stats so the habit feels tangible. Premium adds natural voice, a fuller sound library, mood journaling with search, and guided action plans. It is in testing on iOS and Android; zenweave.app has the full story, screenshots, and roadmap.

No public store link yet — both buttons go to zenweave.app for the latest on iOS and Android testing.

Tumbler Buddy preview

Tumbler Buddy

In testing — iOS & Android

tumblerbuddy.app

Tumbler Buddy is for people who run rock tumblers for weeks at a time and do not want to lose track of which barrel is on coarse, fine, polish, or burnish. You get per-machine and per-barrel stage tracking, a Today list for rinses and advances, reminders with quiet hours, presets or custom grit programs, and photo notes per batch so you remember what went in rough and what came out polished. Free covers one tumbler; premium is aimed at multiple machines and cloud backup. Store release is still in motion — tumblerbuddy.app explains the feature set, pricing philosophy, and how to join the waitlist.

No public store link yet — both buttons go to tumblerbuddy.app for the latest on iOS and Android testing.

About

Terry Brazil · HRDNOX Labs

I'm Terry, based in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. I studied computer science at Lake Superior State University, and I care a lot about building things that feel honest and well made — whether that is a mobile app or a website for someone else.

I also run UP Rock Nerds— a community space around rock culture in the Upper Peninsula. It is separate from the app work, but it is part of the same orbit if you are trying to place who I am.

HRDNOX Labs is my own mobile app studio: products I ship to the App Store and Google Play, end to end. Client websites live under Rocky Road Designs so pricing and process stay in one lane.

I do not advertise custom mobile app work for hire. If you are reaching out about partnerships, press, or something adjacent, use the contact form on this site — that is the right channel.
